then let them go.

They owe you NOTHING.

NO ONE owes you a goddamn thing.

Every time you feel yourself yearning for some unfulfilled promised...

Groaning under the weight of expectation..

Feel a twinge of pain at their failure to fulfil some vague emotional contract...

Let it go. 

Let them go.
